The majority of you, myself included, have never had to deal with swarms of people surrounding them snapping pictures and asking questions. This is part of the lavish life that celebrities live. Usually the paparazzi's constant pestering is harmless and they are just doing their jobs. But in some rare instances the paparazzi may get more than they bargained for and cause a lot of harm. Recently in the news was the story of pop star Chris Brown who accused the paparazzi of causing him to crash his black Porsche into a wall. Another story is that of the paparazzo who was killed by oncoming traffic whilst taking pictures of Justin Bieber in his car. How far is too far for the paparazzi? Are these pictures even necessary? To me, no. I do not need to know what is happening in the life of celebrities and I don't think anybody else needs to know either. Paparazzi are part of the reason celebrities are even called "celebrities", without them celebrities would be able to live out their extravagant lives in peace. I'm not saying that every paparazzo deserves to get hit buy a car, I'm saying tone it down as to not cause any serious damages like the previously stated ones.

I agree. I actually think that sometimes people go to far with following other people around and having to know what they're doing at every single minute of the day (the paparazzi and other creepy folk). I mean, live your own life. Why would you want to live someone else's? I mean, there is the exception with marriage, but other than that, whoever does that (twitter extremists are getting pretty close) I would almost say don't really have a life. And not in a mean way, but they (maybe even you) need to get some new hobbies.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you 100%. I think it's pointless and that the paparazzi takes it too far. They reveal too much about the celebrity and they should consider what it'd feel like to not having any privacy. It'd drive me insane, but there are just some people out there that feel the need to know everything about celebrities. Great post!
ReplyDeleteI think that the paparazzi go way too far on a daily basis. I mean really I couldn't care less who is cheating on who and who is pregnant, and who wore what. I realize that some strange and twisted people with no lives of their own seem to really enjoy reading this crap, but I really don't care. I do think they go too far, and I think that the paparazzi just needs to back off sometimes. Just because these people are celebrities doesn't mean we need to see them putting on shoes, or driving a car, or any of the other things that people do. We do not need to see what happens every minute of every day of these people's lives. I mean, they are people too, and they need private time so they can cheat on each other and all the other stuff they do. I think the paparazzi just needs to back off and leave these celebrities to their overindulgent lives.
